When the peplum trend started 2 years ago, everyone was wearing it from tops to skirts and even belts! I was really hoping back then that I could wear one myself but then again brands forgot about plussies like me. Now, more and more brands gave us attention and made more fasyon clothes!
Imagine my excitement when I saw this top from Get Laud! It was first time to wear a peplum top with a surprise! There’s so many colors to choose from but I got this maroon one. The color is just beautiful, don’t you think?
If you pair it with gold accessories, the ensemble will look classy and sophisticated.
Another thing I LOVE about this top is the cut-out at the back! It’s a perfect twist to the outfit!
Since I don’t want the outfit to be too formal, I paired my ensemble with my Tree-Hi Wedges from UP Shoes. You know me and my love for animal print + how these wedges make me oh so tall!
I just wore a black pencil skirt show-off my lovely curves (Yes, I love my love handles!) and my legs! Don’t be afraid to flaunt it ladies! Just go for it!
Come and celebrate with Get Laud! With every purchase worth of Php 1,200 on a single receipt, you get a FREE GET LAUD loot bag! And every Wednesdays this October you can enjoy BUY 1, GET 1 on all GET LAUD items. So don’t miss these exciting offers from October 1 to 31, 2013!
That’s it! Hope you like you outfit! More OOTDs to come!

I love anything with a splash of animal print. You name it! Whether its zebra, leopard, cheetah, tiger stripes or even spots on a bag, shoes or clothes. I’d really buy it in a heartbeat! Most women are afraid to wear print because they already have a mindset that wearing prints can make you look bigger/fat. But for me and my love for printed clothes, I don’t care about the “Wearing prints can make you fat” because it’s not true.
I saw this when I visited Get Laud! last month. I knew right then and there that I had to get it. A very important tip for wearing print is that don’t be afraid to be bold and try it. You’ll never know if it looks good on you until you try it. Wala namang mawawala, diba?
Another tip is to make sure that it fits you well – Not too tight and not too baggy! Look at what I did to this ensemble. Since the dress is a little bit loose in the tummy area, I wore a scarf/belt to show my waist para hindi lang siya isang silhoutte.
Don’t forget to add a pop of color too! I literally forgot about this booties which I bought a year ago. Finally, I got to wear these babies out! Isn’t it pretty?
