After 2 weeks of reading reviews and looking at mouth-watering photos, it’s finally our turn to try Wrong Ramen! Imagine my excitement when my friends asked me If I want to have dinner here.

We arrived at around 7:30pm but the place was jam-packed! We had to wait an hour before we could score some seats. We literally jumped for joy when the waiter called us saying that our table is ready! Woot, woot~

I wanted to try the FU Ramen (Bacon, eggs and Black Pepper Spam) — breakfast for dinner ang peg ko, ok? But my dreams were crushed when the waitress told me that it wasn’t available anymore. We had to choose between the Tonkotsu Ramen, The Communist and the Tantanmen Ramen.

LESSON LEARNED: Must go earlier!

I love what they did with the interiors! From the witty wall art to these quirky and cute salt and Pepper shakers! I just wanted to take them home!

So, what did I get? Me and Faith both got the Tonkotsu (Rich) Ramen - 395php

“If you only eat here once: a deep and milky pork bone broth. Served with sliced chashu.”

It was perfection in a bowl! I love the richness of the broth, firmness of the noodles and the slices of pork. I enjoyed every bite and slurp of this ramen. Yes, it is fatty but who cares? Haha! I also love how the pork melts in my mouth. Craving for another bowl as I type.

Another highlight of the night was the Bacon Katsu! Oh boy~ the combination of bacon, cheese and katsu is heaven! It was no brainer for us, we just had to order this!

Look at that! Happiness on a plate! We really enjoyed this and maybe we could order two of these next time.

All gone! I told you, it was that good!

We were supposed to order the Poop of the Gods but then again the waitress told us that it wasn’t available – it was too soft to mold. I know, it sounds gross but it isn’t guys. It’s a combination of Belgian Chocolate, Sea Salt in Olive Oil. From the reviews I read, it tastes divine! We had desserts in Bar Dolci instead.

The verdict: Will definitely come back and try the other ramen and dishes. I will come back for you FU Ramen!!! I will!

If you combine studs/spikes and shoes, I would buy them as soon as I lay my eyes on it. Well, it depends pala. The design must be “to die for” before everything else. That’s what I felt when I saw these babies online. I just have to buy them ASAP since stocks run out so fast. And … since my shoe lust is super powerful, I’m still saving up for more pairs. Sorry naaaa! Can’t wait to wear these babies and stab some bad guys (Jooooke!)

It’s not every day that we get to do what we love for a living whilst also being a shining light to those in need. To most, achieving just one of the above would be enough. But not for Marc Battipaglia and Andres S. Beker who created philanthropic fashion label Wild Soul Sunglasses in November 2012.

Wild Soul’s range of sunglasses which are all named after untamed animals (the Lion, the Owl, the Elephant, and the Rhino) help customers “be wild” while helping them “ fulfill their soul”, giving a portion of each sale to a charity of the customer’s choice.“We decided the best way to succeed was to allow the customer to choose where their money will go.”

Each pair of sunglasses are meticulously crafted after the intricate features of the animal whose name they carry and are available in several rich and earthy colors using quality materials.

But it wasn’t always an easy road for Marc and Andres to get their vision off the ground. After meeting in college, the pair became instant friends and knew they both shared a passion for design while incorporating charity and giving back into everything they build.

Manufacturers backing out, website designers who could not accurately portray their vision, delayed and lost shipments, all the while balancing work and law school, were just some of the obstacles that were trying to throw them off track in their quest to fuse fashion & philanthropy. However these hurdles couldn’t stop the duo.

Today, their mornings begin with emails being sent from Argentina, updated tasks lists in New York City, and their days coming to a close with orders from the other side of the world.

Marc and Andres’ willful persistence has shown that passion for a cause can overcome the biggest of hurdles. They have successfully bridged the gap between fashionistas and philanthropists worldwide, affirming that there is a little Wild to everyone’s Soul.

Our team is up early to facilitate the Express Raid. Believe me, I’m inggit to the nth level especially to the girl who won.

There’s so many awesome clothes and good deals! So, I have nothing to do but window shop because we couldn’t join even if we want to.

The raiders were given 2 minutes to go around Uniqlo. You know, price check and scout for the clothes they want.

The ladies ran wildly around the store, grabbing as much clothes as they could. But since there’s a twist, the raiders had to strategize while running.

The twist: All the items they get must have a match (Top-Bottoms, must be stylish and/or color coordinated.). It should be a whole outfit.

And the winner is … *drumroll*

Love Joy! She got two baskets of pure happiness! While the other raiders got 2k GCs each. Not bad eh?

Monochrome is set to be one of the biggest trends for SS13 if the catwalks are anything to go by. It may be a big step from the usual bright colours and floral prints we usually see in summer but I think this is an exception. There is something effortlessly chic about monochrome, perhaps it is the clean contrast and strong lines but this will be the look of the season. We couldn’t talk about the new trends for this season without talking about the go to colours for spring and summer. It is all about warm and bright colours which is great news to get you in to the summer spirit with reds, oranges, pinks and yellows. These colours are filtering into the high street already with bold colour blocking from head to toe. If these bold colours aren’t to your taste the easiest way to wear this trend is with some striking accessories and this way you can transform your favourite outfits to fit with the summer look.

It wouldn’t be summer without a couple of prints and this season does not disappoint. Floral will be making it big as it does every summer but things are beginning to look a little abstract with designers using bold and figurative prints too. Mary Katrantzou’s collection showcases a gorgeous selection of global themed dresses inspired by round the world summer travels with postage stamps and tropical motifs. While other designers are opting for the geometric style, linking nicely with the stripes, that will be everywhere soon too. It is all about a clever mix of colours and well positioned shapes for an optical design.

You all know that I’m a shoe magpie! I usually buy a certain style in all colors (Since I couldn’t decide what to get). I really consider the outfits that would go with them, so I guess it’s fine. Bugged a few officemates but in the end I bought both colors.

Last weekend, I went to the 18th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta with my friends. It was a super fun and awesome weekend! I’m hoping to have more random trips with them soon!

We missed the main event though, which was the Hot Air Balloon Flights, because we left our stuff first at the hotel.

We only saw these ones. Sad.

Hello friends!

This caught my attention! Bought 3 of those for my room!

My favorite part of the event was The  Breitling Jet Team Aerobatic Exhibition

 I swear, we were literally screaming all throughout the exhibition!

As in may part ng exhibition na almost magbangaan yung mga jets!

We left after the exhibition because we’re super tired! No sleep pa! We stayed at the Lohas Hotel/New Well Being Spa Resort which let me just say is super awesome!

Our room is good for 4-5 pax pero we could fit a few more people! The breakfast buffet, use of sauna and swimming pool is already included! Ayos na diba?
